Sandra Lewis
I qualified at St Thomas’s Hospital, London in 1971.
Between 1972 and 1978 I worked in New Zealand and Canada gaining both clinical and teaching experience in manual therapy.
On return to the UK I took a senior position in Brighton at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Outpatients where responsibilities included Staff In Service Training. I also became a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
I entered private practice in 1982 and formed Goring Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic with Caroline Fritche in 1995. During this period I continued post- graduate teaching of manual therapy both in the National Health and private sectors and also worked with professional athletes in Tennis, Cricket, Basketball and Athletics.
My scope of practice includes:
- Musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain
- Sports injuries
- Rehabilitation following injury or surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Work Related Injuries
